Ah...the eldest brother...arguably the most technically skilled fighter of the four fearsome brothers. Visually Leo is a by the books linear looking character with just enough lag that you have to think ahead enough to have time to compensate in case someone is better than you or your up against the computer (who is usually better than you AND faster). Here are my bullet points on Leo:

*Moderately quick with moderately powerful attacks.
*Pretty agile though admittedly very ‘stiff’ feeling in combat. (Perhaps a reflection of his ‘unyielding dedication to the arts and Bushido?) Very straight forward.
*Combos aren’t terribly hard (especially if you’ve played SSBB before this) though if using the wii-mote/ nunchuck format you might need a bit of time to see how they set up the controls (Which isn’t that great to me…I mean TWO buttons for guard? Really? So I went under options and changed them to suit me.)
Another note on Leo’s combos they are very ‘linear’ looking. Rather ‘straight as an arrow’ so to speak. Beautiful…the poses are impressive too.
• Average speed on combo starts but seemingly large openings during start up or at the end.
• Great character for those who like formularic characters ones you don’t have to worry too much about being initially distracted by strange shows. Great for a methodical planner who doesn’t mind hours of practice.



I find that either you ‘click’ with Leonardo or you don’t. Some do some don’t you’ll have to try him out for yourself.
